Who is Invoicycle for?

Freelancers, agencies, SaaS teams, and SMBs that send recurring invoices or need a cleaner client billing workflow.

Can clients pay without creating an account?

Yes. Client portal access is token based, so clients can view invoices, pay, and download PDFs without vendor-side login credentials.

Which payment provider does it use?

Stripe is the primary payment provider for v1, including payment links, invoice events, subscriptions, and webhook status updates.

Does it support multiple currencies?

Yes. Client records and invoices carry currency values, and the UI displays money with Intl.NumberFormat for local formatting.

What does AI billing do?

AI billing can draft line items from project notes, generate payment reminders, and surface unusual payment timing compared with client history.

Can I generate invoice PDFs?

Yes. The PDF route is designed to generate invoice documents with business details, client details, line items, totals, payment instructions, and footer text.

Are recurring invoices automatic?

Recurring invoices can be scheduled by cycle. A daily cron job can clone due recurring invoices and update the next send date.

Is dark mode required?

No. The v1 design is light mode for the product experience, with dark marketing sections where they improve contrast.
